Useful Information on Traveling to Culebra


Flying to Culebra is highly recommended.   It costs around $55.00 and the flight only lasts about 30 minutes from San Juan.

That being said...
 
In Fajardo you can catch the ferry which only costs $2.25 per person.  It takes about an hour and half and CAN be a lovely ride.   I don't recommend this method as there are hassles galore in the busy season.   I however have done it many times because it is the cheapest route when there are 3 or more people in your party.

                              Fajardo to Culebra              9:00 am

                             Culebra to Fajardo              6:30  am
                                                                         1:00  pm
                                                                         5:00  pm

Cargo Ferry Schedule
                           Fajardo to Culebra   M-F      4:00  am
                                                                        5:00  pm                     
          
                           Culebra to  Fajardo                6:30  am
                                                                          6:30 pm

There are mid day cargos but you'll have to call them for times
Be at the terminal at least an hour early.

While your on the island you might want to check out our rental shop.   Culebra Bike Shop
We rent 21 speed Mt. Bikes that will get you into most of the beaches.  If you want to see the rest of the beaches then you'll need to take a kayak! 

Bikes  $15.00,  Snorkel gear $10.00, Chairs and Umbrellas run from $5 -$10 All are rented for 24 hours.  Except the Kayak  $50.00 a day and is due off the water before sunset.


Renting a car in Culebra is also good idea   Carlos Jeep's 
would be more then happy to help and have all brand new jeeps along with golf carts and mules.   There are also scooters available to be rented from Carlos as well.
